Upahar Jung has over 15 years of experience in mass media, nonprofits, and educational sector in Nepal. Currently, he serves as a Policy Analyst/Researcher at Massachusetts House of Representative, a legislative body of the State of Massachusetts, USA.
He worked as a journalist with Kantipur Publications (Nepal Magazine), Drishti Weekly, and some other publications in Nepal for over a decade. He has a Masters in Public Administration Degree with a concentration on Civic and Nonprofit leadership from Bridgewater State University, USA, and Master of Arts in Rural Development from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu.
He was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal.
